Driven. Curious. Collaborative.聽

Developed following extensive feedback gathered from meetings and consultations with faculty members, administrators, staff, and students in 2024, the Faculty of Science's strategic plan will serve as a guiding document in shaping our future.聽

In analyzing challenges and trends in areas including undergraduate and graduate enrolment, research, infrastructure & governance, and equity, diversity and inclusion (EDI), the strategic plan details five key objectives:

  • Increased Research Capacity and Prominence
  • Innovative and Inclusive Teaching and Learning
  • Interdisciplinary Collaboration
  • Inclusive and Accessible Environments
  • Interacting with Community Partners

Each objective reflects our commitment to fostering a supportive, collaborative, and innovative environment where we can thrive together and address the challenges of our time. From expanding research opportunities to creating inclusive spaces and deepening our community connections, this plan positions us to drive meaningful change locally and globally.
