The French Department’s vigour is further expressed in its journal, ×îÐÂÐÓ°ÉÔ´´ French Studies, which advances the department and the university’s presence on the world stage.
The Department also saw the birth of the Faculty’s first e-journal, , an innovative and multilingual publication focusing on popular literature and media studies, created in 2001 by Vittorio Frigerio, which has been hailed as "probably the leading e-journal on popular culture" (European Comic Art Vol. 1, No. 1, Spring 2008). The journal has moved to the French website Revues.org since 2011.
The department also saw the birth of the first e-journal of the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences, , which has gone on to become an internationally collaborative multilingual publication focusing on popular literature and media studies. Created in 2001 by Vittorio Frigerio, professor emeritus, µþ±ð±ô±è³óé²µ´Ç°ù is considered a leading e-journal on popular culture. The journal is now available through  (formally Revues.org)
