Centre for Learning and Teaching grants are designed to support initiatives that have the potential to address student engagement and retention at ×îÐÂÐÓ°ÉÔ´´. Faculty and staff members are invited to collaborate with the Centre for Learning and Teaching on the development of proposals for projects designed to enhance the learning experiences of students in any year of study. The projects may range in scope from Faculty to the classroom level.​
Change One Thing Challenge​ (Deadline: February 10, ​​​2020)Â
The Change One Thing Challenge is an open invitation to the university teaching community to submit a description of a student engagement activity that has been developed as part of their current teaching practice, and that they believe has a positive impact on student learning.​  One grant of up to $1,000 is available.​​​​  Learn more about the 'Change One Thing Challenge'
K. Lynn Taylor ​​Educational Conference Presentation Travel Grant​ (Deadline, January 13, 2020)
This grant will assist in funding travel costs incurred by faculty who have been accepted to give a scholarly presentation at an academic conference with a focus on teaching and learning in higher education, or a pedagogical session (focused on teaching and learning in higher education) at a discipline-based conference. For this funding, scholarly presentations i​​​nclude presenting a research paper or a poster (finalized or preliminary findings), facilitating a workshop, or participating on a panel or roundtable. ​Two (2) grants of up to $1,000 each are available.​​  Learn more about the 'K.
