·ÌýÌý If you and/or your spouse are members of the ×îÐÂÐÓ°ÉÔ­´´ Medical Plan and are over the age of 65 with an active position (FTE status of 50% or greater), you will maintain drug coverage.

·ÌýÌý Members who are over the age of 65 must call the Nova Scotia Seniors’ Pharmacare Program at 1-800-544-6191 to let them know that they will have drug coverage under the ×îÐÂÐÓ°ÉÔ­´´ Medical Plan.

·ÌýÌý Should an employee retire or leave ×îÐÂÐÓ°ÉÔ­´´ after the age of 65, to avoid a late entry penalty, employees must apply for coverage with Pharmacare within 90 days of the date your coverage under the ×îÐÂÐÓ°ÉÔ­´´ Medical Plan ends.
