Mitacs Globalink Research Awards (GRAs) help faculty and students at Canadian universities deepen the research links between Canadian and international educational institutions. ×îÐÂÐÓ°ÉÔ­´´ faculty in any discipline may submit applications in support of their senior undergraduate students, graduate students or postdoctoral fellows.

Awards will be made to students in support of 12- to 24-week research project placements at universities in Canada or abroad. These awards provide $6,000 in funding for research costs, student stipend, and travel/living expenses. Incoming and outgoing applicants must secure a ×îÐÂÐÓ°ÉÔ­´´ faculty member as their home/host supervisor prior to applying.

Applications will be accepted on an ongoing basis by Mitacs, but applicants are strongly encouraged to submit their application at least 4 months in advance of when they plan to travel. Successfully-funded placements will be expected to commence in autumn 2020, but summer 2020 placements may be possible for some destinations.
