Mitacs Globalink Research Awards (GRAs) help faculty and students at Canadian universities deepen the research links between Canadian and international educational institutions. ×îÐÂÐÓ°ÉÔ­´´ faculty in any discipline may submit applications in support of their senior undergraduate or graduate students.

Awards will be made to students in support of 12- to 24-week research project placements at universities in partner countries. Financial support can vary by destination country, but most awards are in the range of $6,000.

For this latest round, the list of eligible partner countries has expanded significantly.Ìý Canadian students may apply for research placements at universities in the following countries:

• All EU member states (including the United Kingdom) - NEW

For this latest round of the GRAs, applications will be accepted on an ongoing basis by Mitacs. However, the internal ×îÐÂÐÓ°ÉÔ­´´ deadline for this round is 3 April 2018. Successfully-funded placements will be expected to commence in autumn 2018, but summer 2018 placements may be possible for some destinations.
